The McKnight family invited me to their home to capture some family memories as a family of 4. There is something so magical about sessions at home. The kids are already comfortable and content and they just get to BE. As the McKnight’s read stories, snuggled, and laughed together I was there, to simply capture them being themselves.
After we spent some time inside, we were ready to venture to the beautiful backyard. Big bro was happy as can be riding his bike on the grass, climbing around on the swing set, cuddling his baby sis, and getting tickles from Mom and Dad. I love that this family will always be able to look back at these images and remember just how life was right at this period of time. It was my honor to photograph this session and I can’t wait to watch this adorable duo grow up together.
I know that not everyone feels like in-home sessions are for their family. I completely understand that the stress of having your house “photo ready” feels like pressure. There may be a concern about how to act and what to do.
