so very worth the wait.

I was in the delivery room with my cousin last week, when my newest nephew made his way into the world.   Words can’t even express what a very special and meaningful experience that was to me.  She and I have always had a close bond and to be a part of such a miracle brought us even closer.

My cousin has always been an amazing woman.  Close to 24 hours of labor, no epidural and a completely calm, peaceful and spiritual birth raised her pedestal even higher. 🙂  While we were waiting for this little guys arrival, my cousin made a comment that everything about this baby has been a wait.  She is so right.   And, this tiny ball of perfection was SO worth that wait.

I did not take a whole lot of photographs… I was there to soak in every moment and to be completely present at the time, but I did manage to snap a few.   I am so glad I did.   The first moment she saw her new babies face was absolutely priceless.

A few days after they went home from the hospital, I snapped a few family images as well.  Welcome to the world, baby boy!  We are so very blessed to have you here.
