This is certainly the busy season for photographers- full of awesome photo sessions and countless late nights of editing, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I mean, seriously, when these are the faces I get to look at, it makes it all worth it (yes, even at 2 am, while the rest of my household is quietly asleep).
You probably remember this adorable face from here and here and here. This time we had 2 super active guys to keep up with- and how much fun we had running through the leaves and playing every type of game you could imagine. I love the creativity and energy this family has and one of my favorite parts of this session was that they chose a place that was particularly meaningful to them. It’s always awesome to photograph a family in a location that they love- makes the session and the images even more memorable.

This was the first time I photographed this happy little guy. His family was so sweet and he could not have been any cuter! I especially loved when Mom gave him his bottle and he just snuggled right in for a 5 minute snooze, and woke up happy as could be! He obviously did not fit the description of the typical newborn session, but I simply adore photographing this 3 month age also- still “new,” but with tons of personality and facial expressions.
