1.16.13 outtakes.

I am really loving this project 365.   If you’ve missed reading my explanation of the project click here or if you want to see the first few weeks, click here.  So far, it has been a great way to force me to pull out the camera (the “real” camera- not just my iPhone) and photograph moments in my day.  This project also enables you to see my messy house, mismatched clothing, grumpy and pouty faces,  and this ridiculous Periwinkle costume that will NOT go away… honestly, my little one wears it EVERY.SINGLE.DAY (and she sleeps in it too).   Now that I’ve figured out how to wash this glorious costume in the machine, it is beginning to unravel- it’s only a matter of time before my photo du jour is one of a devastated 2 year old… stay tuned.

Most days, I have the camera out for just a few minutes, so I don’t feel like this project takes over my life.   The majority of the project 365 images are just a typical, candid moment in my day.   Today was capturing my girls during a pillow fight.   I thought these pillows might make a fun prop for some Valentine’s day images- of course my kiddos had bigger and better plans.

Here is the one I chose for the image of the day:
